Abstract:
The Present invention relates generally to a snake bite prevention shoe. More specifically, the present invention provides an air ventilating shoe/boot for farmer's safety to be use in a paddy field or in wild forest area to avoid snake bite, and preventing a water, mud or insects entering in it. Further, the present invention shoe is also providing an air ventilation to foot. A snake bite prevention shoe (100) comprising of seamless shoe body (1), air inlet pipe (11), a safety strip (7), an air outlets (3), protection flap (5), an electric strip (8), battery (8), bottom sole (2), inner sole (9), and an air sac (13) configured with an air inlet pipe (11). The present invention provides a comfortably knee length shoe as it is light weight and without sweating as provided with a mechanism for circulation of air within the shoes and protective strip to avoid entry of insect inside the shoe.

CLAIMS claim; . A snake bite prevention shoe (100) comprising of:

-seamless shoe body (1),

-air inlet pipe (11),

-shoe lace flap (4),

-eye rivet (14),

-a safety strip (7),

-an air outlets (3),

-protection flap (5),

-an electric strip (8),

-battery (8),

-bottom sole (2),

-inner sole (9),

-an air sac (13) configured with an air inlet pipe (11).

2. The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein air sac (13) is half blower bulb having D-shape and air space that produces optimum air blowing effect through its squeezing effect.

3. The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein D-shaped air sac (13) is having one side plain edge open for the air to exit and other side one or two orifice (12) on the curve edge for air to suck in said bulb.

4. The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein an air inlet pipe (11) is connected to air sac (13) at an orifice (12) using joint (401).

5. The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the air inlet pipe (11) is extending from the bottom sole to the knee length.

9 The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein bottom sole (2) is having a flat portion under foot palm reason (201) and dip cavity of D-shapes (203) below hill region to accommodate an air sac (13). The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein inner sole (9) is having air flow guiders (901) and shaped elevations disposed on peripheral portion of said sole. The snake bite prevention shoe (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said shoe is made from material selected from rubber, silicon and combination with fabric and polymer material to provide an inbuilt elasticity and tenacity to avoid any pricking.

TITLE OF THE INVENTION:

SNAKE BITE PREVENTION SHOES

FIELD OF INVENTION

[001] The Present invention relates generally to a snake bite prevention shoe. More specifically, the present invention provides an air ventilating shoe/boot for farmer’s safety to be use in a paddy field or in wild forest area to avoid snake bite, and preventing a water, mud or insects entering in it. Further, the present invention shoe is also providing an air ventilation to foot.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PRIOR ARTS

[002] Boot or knee length shoe are used for protecting foot and leg from water, snow and hazardous industrial materials and arduous work. These knee length shoes are to cover the ankle, calf or the leg while working in a paddy field or wild forest. Due to extended body till knee or above that of such shoes, especially if person is working in warm weather and doing a physically demanding job, sweating is a normal way for a body to react to increased body temperatures. Therefore, an improved pair of boots/shoe can prevent the build-up of sweat and accompanying odor. Some such boots may externally covered (toe/bottom sole) with metals when exclusively used as safety shoes with steel toe in construction, for workers in metal/thermal plant industries.

[003] But, in such shoe/boot including protection from water or mud, the need exist for protection from attack from snake/ spider/ scorpion while working in field or forest.

[004] As per the global health estimated, 4.5millions are bitten by snakes every year. Around 2.7 million, injured world wide as per global snake bite initiative. The snake bite deaths are 1, 38,000+ every year, around the world, mostly in India and Sri Lanka. [005] The remedy to avoid these deadly attacks constitutes development of snake bite prevention shoe. Till date such shoes or boots prepared from rubber/plastics/leather are unable to resist snake bite, in forests e.g. used in south Africa, Nagaland etc. Secondly, to provide such boots, the material need to be very thick, that add on extra weight of boot and therefore very inconvenient to use such heavy footwear while performing physical works like walking/working in forest, walking in muddy fields.

[006] The prior art, CN102511956A discloses a snakebite protection shoe, wherein, a breathable cloth sac is sewn into the exterior of a sports shoe, prepared snake repellent (such as mixture of realgar and garlic cloves) is filled into a breathable drug cloth sac, and the breathable drug cloth sac is placed into the breathable cloth sac for snake repelling, and attack from pronouns snakes is avoided. This snakebite protection shoe is not suitable for farmer use as it is comprising sac of medicine which will be ineffective upon getting wet in mud.

[007] Therefore, there is need exists in the prior arts, to develop a modified shoe for useful to farmer that will be breathable knee length shoe, light weight, protecting water entering into it and also provides a protection from snake/insect bites and also prevents entering insects like poisonous spiders, scorpion, ants etc. [008] The embodiments of the invention described herein addresses the shortcomings of the prior arts.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[009] The Present invention relates generally to a snake bite prevention shoe. More specifically, the present invention provides an air ventilating shoe/boot for farmer’s safety to be use in a paddy field or in wild forest area to avoid snake bite, and preventing a water, mud or insects entering in it. Further, the present invention shoe is also providing an air ventilation to foot.

[0010] The present invention provides a snake bite prevention shoe (100) comprising of: seamless shoe body (1), air inlet pipe (11), shoe lace flap (4), eye rivet (14), a safety strip (7), an air outlets (3), protection flap (5), an electric strip (8), battery (8), bottom sole (2), inner sole (9), an air sac (13) configured with an air inlet pipe (11).

[0011] Wherein air sac (13) is half blower bulb having D-shape and air space that produces optimum air blowing effect through its squeezing effect and D-shaped air sac (13) is having one side plain edge open for the air to exit and other side one or two orifice (12) on the curve edge for air to suck in said bulb. Further, an air inlet pipe (11) is connected to air sac (13) at an orifice (12) using joint (401). And the air inlet pipe (11) is extending from the bottom sole to the knee length.

[0013] Non limiting to invention scope, the shoe is made from material selected from rubber, silicon and combination with fabric and polymer material to provide an inbuilt elasticity and tenacity to avoid any pricking. Further, the electric current circulated in safety strip is between 1000 to 10000 volts to kill the insects during outdoor camping or working in forest.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0020] In the following description, for the purpose of explanation, specific details are set forth in order to provide an understanding of the present invention. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced without these details.

[0021] The present invention provides a snakebite prevention shoe. These shoes are mainly invented, keeping in mind the use in the forest areas/muddy fields to avoid snake bites, insects, and other foreign poking, damaging the leg or foot, and to avoid water entering from outside into the shoes. As no existing shoes are safe to be used in the forest worldwide.

[0022] In one of the embodiments of the present inventio, the snakebite prevention shoe protect the wearer leg, from the insects entering the shoe body from top, by an electric shock created by an electric circuit generated around the top of the shoe, by the single use or rechargeable battery operation comprising positive and negative for current circulation.

[0023] Additionally, in accordance to second embodiment, a person can wear these shoes comfortably without sweating as shoe is also provided with the system for the circulation of air within the shoes. As, incorporation of rubber and plastics into footwear however, has reduced the permeability for air and moisture that was available with more natural footwear materials, such as leather and fabric. It is well- known that the foot has a particularly high density of perspiration pores, which release great amounts of moisture, especially during physical activities. This excessive moisture should be quickly removed from the surface of the foot in order to avoid a humid foot climate, a condition that at a minimum causes discomfort and odor, but at worst, may lead to foot diseases. Thus, it is desirable that there be sufficient ventilation of the interior of the shoe and, thereby of the foot. For this reason, different approaches to ventilate and remove sweat from the foot are developed in present invention.

[0024] Further, in accordance to one more embodiment, the present invention snake bite prevention shoe provides a shoe body that is having high elasticity to prevent pricks on it, therefore light weight shoe. As while making a shoe body having high thickness to prevent snake bite (pricking body of shoe) increases the total weight of shoe and thereby the problem further increases as for physical work, wearer need lighter shoe/boot.

[0025] Therefore, the embodiments of the present invention are neither intended to identify essential features of the present invention, nor it is intended for use in determining or limiting the scope of the present situation. These shoes are mainly invented, keeping in mind the use in the forest areas to avoid snake bites, insects, and other foreign poking, damaging the leg or foot, and to avoid water entering from outside into the shoes, where no existing shoes are safe to be used in the forest worldwide.

[0026] The present invention shoes protect the legs, from the insects entering the shoes from top, by an electric circuit generated around the top of the shoes, by the battery operation. A person can wear these shoes comfortably as it is light weight and without sweating as provided with a mechanism for circulation of air within the shoes. The present invention of a snake bite prevention shoe (100) comprising of shoe body (preferably above the knee length) made up of rubber having inbuilt elasticity and tenacity as to avoid any pricking without increasing thickness of shoe body and therefore light weight. The shoe body is further comprising of the bottom soles with complete components of air circulation for air to suck in sole portion and providing it around the palm suction and releasing out of shoe from the mouth of shoe/path provided in front side of leg portion. The shoe of present invention further comprising of flaps with laces for tight fitting on the leg. The said shoe further comprises of a laces, bottom sole, graphics, a tongue and support mechanism. And non-limiting to this, impregnated with agents selected form anti-rodent and reptile, insecticide repellent.

[0027] According to present invention, the present invention introduces safety shoe (100) to prevent snake bite comprising of a rubber composition of 0.01-2 mm thickness having inbuilt elasticity and tenacity as to avoid any pricking. Further, the rodent or insect that tries to enter from the top mouth of said shoe is also avoided by providing a electric circuit with the battery. This electric circuit is suitably provided to pass the slight current so when insect run over the said electric strip, it exerts an electric shock on said insect body to avoid insects entering from top of the shoes. The said shoe further comprising of air circulation pump in the form of an air bag that is having enough elasticity to retain its D-shaped bulb shape when pressure is release thereby providing a mechanically operating air pump to suck fresh air from outside environment and flushing it into a shoe body.

[0028] Referring to figure no. 1 and 2, the present invention relates to a snake bite prevention shoe (100) for working in muddy field that allows air ventilation and vapor exchange while walking and performing physically active job in muddy fields and also prevent snake bite. More preferably, the invention provides a light weight, knee length breathable and protective fastenable snake bite prevention shoe having shoe body (1), air inlet pipe at the back side (11), shoe lace flap (4) having eye rivet (14) for lace to fasten the shoe around leg, a safety strip (7), air outlets (3), protection flap (5), electric strip (8), battery (8), bottom sole (2), with inner sole (9), an air sac/pump (13) with air inlet joint (12).

[0029] Referring to figure no. 3, the present invention comprising of bottom sole (2) comprising a cavity (203) below the heel portion for accommodation of air pump (13) and flat portion (201) for foot palm. The inner sole (9) to be placed above the bottom sole comprising a air distribution paths (901) starting near the exit of air pump wide mouth and ending towards the palm peripheral region that assist distribution of fresh air in the shoe body (1). [0030] In an embodiment of present invention and referring to figure no. 4, the protective snake bite prevention shoe is comprising mainly of D-shaped rubber air sac. Wherein D-shaped air sac (13) is having one side plain edge open for the air to exit and other side one or two orifice (12) on the curve edge for air to suck in said bulb an air inlet pipe (11) is connected to air sac (13) at an orifice (12) using joint (401).

[0031] In accordance to working of this, the said D-shaped bulb is placed in the cavity (203) of bottom sole and due to it’s flexible rubber bulb properties that is squeezed due to wearer body weight to create a vacuum to suck the air in air pipe (11) and transfer it to sole area via an inner sole (9), and dispense air in shoe body through a path (901). The air released from the peripheral portion of foot and exits from the show via outlet pipe(3). Accordingly, the air sac helps to suck the fresh air inside the shoe through a pipes (11) which are connected to said D-shaped air pump/sac at the joint (401), said air is distributed throughout the foot area due to innersole (9) provided with guiders.

[0032] In accordance to further working of this invention, the electric strip (8) is comprising of electric wire circuit and configured with a power supply module i.e. battery (8). The said battery can be a single use or rechargeable (from renewable energy source/electric source). More specifically, the negative pole of battery is configured with electricity conducting wire and the positive pole of battery is configured with electricity conducting wire and connected with circuit board to start or switch off the circulation of electric current through said wires and thereby when insect is crossing these netting of wire it gets electric shock sufficient enough to run away or kill. Thereby the snakebite prevention shoe of present invention achieved the objective of protecting the wearer leg from the insects entering the shoe body from top, by an electric shock created by an electric circuit generated around the top of the shoe, by the single use or rechargeable battery. As would be apparent to a person skilled in the art, various working modifications may be made to the method in order to implement the inventive concept as taught herein.
