Abstract:
A plug housing (160) of a snap button type plug connector (100) has a protrusion part (130) that protrudes in the fitting direction and an engagement section (150) formed in the protrusion part (130). A receptacle housing (260) of a snap button type receptacle connector (200) has a reception part (230) that receives the protrusion part (130) in the fitting direction, and a to-be-engaged section (250) that is formed in the reception part (230) and that is hooked to the engagement section (150) so as to suppress the protrusion part (130) from coming off the reception part (230). The protrusion part (130) and the reception part (230) have respective shapes such that, when the protrusion part (130) is received by the reception part (230), relative rotation, in the circumferential direction, of the snap button type plug connector (100) and the snap button type receptacle connector (200) is blocked by both of the parts (130, 230).
