Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a snap tap molding method that prevents leakage from between an existing pipe and a regeneration pipe, in a branching construction method whereby water is not disconnected. A snap tap molding method whereby, at a position corresponding to an inflow opening section of a gate valve (15) and being the position that becomes the snap tap for a water pipe (11): a partitioning wall (25) is adhered to and pressed on to the outer circumferential wall of a water pipe and attached thereto, said partitioning wall (25) being formed along the curvature of the outer circumferential wall of the water pipe (11); a center drill guide hole (26) is drilled at the center of the partitioning wall (25) so as to be the center of the snap tap (14); when the water pipe (11) is being drilled, a center drill (45) of a drilling machine (43) retractably inserted and housed inside the gate valve (15) water flow pipe is inserted in the center drill guide hole (26); the drilling machine (43) is advanced while guessing the drill hole center, and a water dividing port (62) is drilled in the partition wall and the peripheral wall of the water pipe (11), by a core drill (46); the drilling machine (43) is then removed from an inflow path (16) for the gate valve (15); and the snap tap is communicatively connected to the water dividing port by a snap tap attachment tool (10) provided separately.
