Abstract:
Disclosed is a snow plough provided with a hydrostatic transmission having a gear ratio that is able to be controlled in such a way as to automatically reduce the travel speed of the snow plough when the load on the auger or the travelling device of the snow plough increases excessively, while effectively avoiding a rise in manufacturing costs of the snow plough. When the magnitude of the load generated by snow on the auger or the travelling device of the snow plough is greater than a value correspondent to the set pressure of a sequence valve (228), the sequence valve (228) opens a bypass passage (220). This reduces the quantity of working oil supplied to the piston motor (112) from the piston pump (110) by way of a closed hydraulic circuit (178) and, as a result, the HST shifts the rotation of an engine (32) to a rotational speed lower than the rotational speed determined by the set gear ratio, and transmits the rotation to the travelling device. As a result, when the load on the auger or the travelling device of the snow plough increases, the travelling speed of the snow plough automatically drops.
