Abstract:
A lightweight snow plow capable of processing hard removed snow lumps having a size of exceeding 50 cm and easily usable for aged persons and women. An auger (41) cutting fallen snow by upper cut is installed at the front end of the frame (10) of the snow plow, operation handle bars (11) and (12) are fitted to the rear end thereof, and a snow moving means (40) formed of an arc-shaped sliding body or a wheel is fitted to the intermediate portion thereof. The frame is formed as an integral lever which uses the mounting part of the snow moving means (40) as a pivot (16) so that the auger (41) can be moved in the vertical and longitudinal directions by the operation handle bars (11) and (12), and a drive means (30) for the auger (41) is installed on the frame (10). The handle bars (11) and (12) are desirably installed on the frame (10) in two upper and lower stages. In addition, a snow throwing device (50) is desirably fixed to an auger cover and installed on a tilt adjustable stand tilted relative to the frame by a link mechanism.
