FIELD OF INVENTION

This invention is related to a device for removing snow deposited over the roof, particularly, electrical snow removing device constructed above the roof.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In general, there are plenty of countries full of snow lands and weather conditions are very cold and rain falling. The residences at this place are having snowfalls, ice cubes, cold rains etc. people from these places or counties likely having the burden to clean the snow falls on the roof of the building. Every year, workers are killed or seriously injured while performing snow or ice removal from rooftops and other building structures, such as decks. Snow removal is performed for several reasons, such as to prevent overloading and collapse, or for construction or repair of decking or roofs. Often workers climb directly onto the roofs or structures and use equipment such as shovels, snow rakes, snowblowers, ladders, etc. Other times these operations may be performed from the ground level using snow rakes. Aerial lifts are sometimes used to access roofs and apply de-icing materials. Snow removal operations are often performed under extreme weather conditions (e.g., cold, high winds, icy surfaces). Workers who perform these activities (for example, building maintenance workers) may have little experience or training on the hazards of such operations or work. Workers performing snow removal operations are exposed to many serious hazards. Workers may fall off roof edges, through skylights, and from ladders and aerial lifts. Workers may also be injured or killed by a roof collapse.

Various devices have been proposed to control or eliminate snow accumulation and ice dams. Such devices include electric heating systems using resistive heating wires, strips, or other elements. These systems are expensive and often require professional installation. Other manual systems include blades to cut or chop the ice and snow, and scrapers to pull the ice or snow from the roof. These devices are often bulky, heavy and are prone to damaging the roof in order to remove the ice.

In US 8,650,693 B2, A solar panel includes a cleaning assembly, the solar panel is mounted for rotation about a horizontal axis along a semi-circular path and the cleaning assembly comprising an oblong brush held across the front face of the solar panel and slidable back and forth along the front face of the solar panel.

US 7,139,471 Bl, shows an apparatus for removing snow and ice from a roof includes a plurality of heating panels fastened to a rooftop surface. Each heating panel is formed from water-imperme able material and includes top and bottom surfaces formed from heat-resistant material. A plurality of elongated thermal- conductive heating elements is sandwiched medially of the top and bottom surfaces. A control panel is electrically coupled to one of the heating panels and a power cord is electrically coupled to an external power supply source. The present invention further includes a mechanism for electri cally coupling the heating panels to each other and a mechanism for removably attaching the heating panels to the roof. A thermal sensor is operably connected to the control panel and the heating panels for monitoring the operating temperature of the heating elements.

In CN103114685A, shows a device related to an automatic snow removing device of a roof. The automatic snow removing device of the roof comprises an aluminum Im, a heating resistance wire, a conducting wire, a pressure sensor, an on-off switch of a relay, a single chip controller and a manual on-off switch. The heating resistance wire is woven to be a net-shaped structure and connected with the conducting wire. The aluminium Im is tightly connected with upper and lower surfaces of the net shaped heating resistance wire. The pressure sensor is connected with the single chip controller which controls on-off of the on-off switch of the relay. The conducting wire is connected with a low voltage power supply which is lowered by an isolated transformer. The manual on-off switch is connected with the on-off switch of the relay in series in a circuit. The automatic snow removing device of the roof is high in reliability, strong in anti-interference ability, convenient to operate and use, economic, practical, capable of effectively removing accumulated snow on the roof in winter, and capable of being applied to roofs or building ceilings of different structures.

Yet there is a need to provide electric snow removing device using resistive heating wires, strips or other elements at low cost and simple design, often replaces manual installation and execution.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the invention is to provide electrical snow removing device fixed above the roof for clearing the deposition of snows or ice cubes or ice bars, snow heaps and ice particles etc.

The other object of the invention is to provide electrical snow removing device fixed above the roof for melting the deposition of snows or ice cubes or ice bars, snow heaps and ice particles etc.

Another objective of the invention is to provide electrical snow removing device fixed above the roof for clearing the deposition of snows or ice cubes or ice bars, snow heaps and ice particles by evaporation of ice drops or snowdrops droplets, raindrops, rain waters, snow dust, etc.

Yet the other objective of the invention is to provide electrical snow removing device fixed above the roof for clearing the deposition of snows or ice cubes or ice bars, snow heaps and ice particles by wiping, scrubbing the deposition of snows or ice cubes or ice bars, snow heaps and ice particles etc.

Yet the other embodiment in the invention is to provide automatic snow removing device for clearing the deposition of snows or ice cubes or ice bars, snow heaps and ice particles.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Fig 1a-1c Fig 1a-1c illustrates pluralities of views of a roof of a building over which the snow removing device can be constructed as per one embodiment in the invention

It is an important embodiment in the invention is that snow removing device is provided for the roof of the building, where roof is either flat or pyramid or conical or triangular or any shape particularly not an uneven surface. It is another embodiment of the invention is that the material of the roof may be concrete, wood or glass or any other polished or smooth surface. Figla- 1c illustrates pluralities of roof view shown.

Fig 1d illustrates the electrical snow removing device fixed above the roof of a building where a DC motor 1 or a high torque producing motor 1 placed inside of the building, where the rotating part of the motor is appropriately connected to the snow removing device constructed above the roof of the building. The rotating part of the motor is connected to the rolling rod through a metal chain 12. The snow removing device constructed above the roof may contain a protection shelter 3 to save the snow removing device from rain, water, snow garbage etc. At an initial position, the snow removing plate 2 at either side of the device compressed at top peak position of the roof.

In Fig 2, a side view showing a slider or snow removing plate and moving mechanism as per another embodiment in the invention. In one aspect of the present invention where a metal gear 4 is rotatably fixed to the rolling rod 3 above the roof, where the axis of the rolling threaded rod 3 is parallel to the axis of the roof. In another aspect, the longitudinal length of the rolling rod is parallel fixed towards the entire length of the roof if desired. A set of left and right supporting ball bearing 5, 10 is fixed, between which the rolling threaded rod 3 is connected. Wherein the rolling threaded rod is consisting of left and right threaded screws 7, 8. Wherein the rolling threaded rod 3 rotates in one direction thereby the left screw and right screw 7, 8 rotates in one direction causes the sliding or moving left and right nuts 6, 9 to move opposite direction to each other.

It is one of the main embodiments in the invention; the snow removing device consisting of sliding or moving nuts 6, 9 is connected to a contracting and expanding means thereby activation of force is experienced, finally that activated force is applied to snow removing plate 2 to clear the snow or rainwater or ice cubes or ice particles or dust, etc.

Another embodiment in the invention is that the snow removing device consisting of sliding or moving nuts 6, 9 is connected to a contracting and expanding means thereby activation of force is experienced, finally that activated force is applied to snow removing plate 2 to wipe or evaporate or melting the snow or rainwater or ice cubes or ice particles or dust, etc.

The snow removing plate 2 is a metal plate fixed with a conduit or corks folder 17 and smooth movement over the roof, the snow removing plate may be connected with a set of spike wheels 11 .

In one aspect the snow removing plate 2 is having one end as a curved plane or sharp-edged plane so that it can smoothly slide over the roof to clean clear the snow or rainwater or ice cubes or ice particles or dust etc. In another aspect the curved plane of the snow removing plate 2 may be incorporated with removable nanosponge to clean the snow or rainwater or ice cubes or ice particles or dust etc. Yet the other aspect in the invention, the curved plane of the snow removing plate 2 may be incorporated with a set of power cables (DC/AC) to heat the snow removing plate 2 thereby snow removing plate 2 will melt the snow or rainwater and evaporates snow or rainwater for cleaning the roof. It is another important embodiment of the invention is that the snow removing device is controlled by an electronic controller. Yet the other important embodiment in the invention is the electronic controller is connected to a set of sensors 19, 20 and the motor 1. Wherein, the sensors are temperature sensor 19 and water sensor 20.

When metal gear 4 rotates thereby the rolling threaded rod 3 rotates thereby the moving left nut 6 and right nut 9 pushes the spike wheel 11 to slide along the roof thereby the snow removing plate 2 clears the snow deposited.

Fig 5 illustrates the snow removing plate back side view

In Fig 6, a side view of snow removing device containing threaded rod 3 connected to motor 1 , It is another important embodiment in the invention that the gear wheel 4 may be incorporated with a handgrip so that user can rotate the gear wheel manually to rotate the threaded rod 3 thereby snow removing plate can move forward/backward for cleaning. The person skilled in the art can connect the morot 1 to the snow removing device by placing anywhere inside of the building or outside of the building where the scope of the invention is not restrictable by placing the motor 1 .

It is one of the important embodiments in the invention that the rotation of rolling threaded rod 3 is used to produce an activation force that can be utilized to move the snow removing plate 2 either forward or backward. The snow deposited or ice cubes or dust particles or ice rocks sands over the roof are not removed completely by simply sliding the snow removing plate 2. The volume of a stack of ice cubes or ice bars or the weight of the snow deposited over the roof requires additional force to clean the same. For that purpose, the snow removing plate 2 is further characterized to include a corks holder 17 along the longitudinal length of the snow removing plate 2.

It is an important embodiment that the moving left nut 6 and right nut 9 further connected with a contracting and expanding means or a scissor assembly 13, wherein the scissor assembly 13 is a set of metal rods connected in a scissor fashion at one end with the pair of left and right nuts 6, 9. The other ends are connected with a set of T-shaped corks 14. Corks 14 are connected to the cork folder 17. Wherein, the rolling threaded rod 3 rotates in one direction thereby the moving nuts 6, 9 moves to contact each other causes the scissor assembly to expand thereby the corks 14 pushes the snow removing plate 2 with an activation force to move forward resulting the snow deposited or ice cubes or dust or ice stones over the roof get removed. ,

In another aspect in the invention that the rolling threaded rod 3 rotates in another direction thereby the moving nuts 6, 9 moves opposite to each other causes the scissor assembly to contract thereby the corks 14 pulls force the snow removing plate 2 with activation to move rearward resulting the snow deposited or ice cubes or dust or ice stones over the roof get removed.

Fig 11 illustrates the snow-removing device 2 slides along the roof with spike wheels 11 , fixed above the roof along with the side view.

Fig 12-14 and Fig 17 illustrate the left and right side threaded rods as per one embodiment in the invention and is the perspective view of the threaded rod respectively. It is obvious to a person skilled in the art to rearrange the threading. Instead, the present invention exhibits a novelty arrangement in the rolling rod 3 such that a pair of threaded screws along the rolling threaded rod 3 is used to accommodate a pair of moving nuts 6 and 9. Fig 15 illustrates the rolling threaded rod 3 containing a nut stopper 21 at midpoint of the rolling threaded rod up to which the moving left nut 6 and right nut 9 move. In another aspect, the moving nuts 6 and 9 moves along the rolling threaded rod 3 towards the nut stopper 21 when the rolling threaded rod rotates in one direction, the moving nuts 6 and 9 moves away from the nut stopper 21 when the rolling threaded rod 3 rotates in another direction.

Fig 16 illustrates the perspective view of the snow removing device where motor 1 connected the rolling threaded rod 3 along which the sliding or moving nuts 6, 9 push or pull the snow removing plate 2 as shown.

Fig 18 illustrates the perspective view of the snow removing device in which, the moving nuts 6, 9 moves along the rolling threaded rod 3 thereby the T-shaped corks 14 kept inside the cork holder 17 moves along the snow removing plate 2. When the moving nuts 6 and 9 meets at the point nut stopper 21 , the corks 14 meet each other at the midpoint of snow removing plate 2 at this position the scissor assembly 13 is at extended position where snow removing plate moved or pushed forward to clean the snow deposited or ice cubes or dust or ice stones over the roof. When the moving nut 6 and 9 move away from the nut stopper 21 thereby the corks 14 inside the cork holder moves away from each other at which the scissor assembly is contracted position and the snow removing plate can be moved rearward to clean the snow deposited or ice cubes or dust or ice stones over the roof.

In one preferred embodiment the moving nuts 6, 9 moves along the rolling threaded rod 3 thereby the scissor assembly 13 produces an activation force or push force towards the corks 14 thereby the snow removing plate 2 pushed forward for removing snow deposited or ice cubes or dust or ice stones over the roof and in other embodiment in the invention where embodiment the moving nuts 6, 9 moves along the rolling threaded rod 3 thereby the scissor assembly produces an activation force or pull force towards the corks 14 thereby the snow removing plate 2 is pulled backward for removing snow deposited or ice cubes or dust or ice stones over the roof. The person skilled in the art can do a modification for the snow removing plate 2 may be fixed on both sides of the roof.

Thus since the invention disclosed herein may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit or general characteristics thereof, some of which forms have been indicated, the embodiments described herein are to be considered in all respects illustrative and not restrictive.
