Abstract:
In order to combine the advantages of a twin-tip shape and a directional shape, a snowboard having a stance center (C2) more toward the tail with respect to the entire length of the board is provided with: a plate-like core material extending across the entire length of the board; and a sheet-like reinforcing material (15) laminated on a plate surface of the core material. Carbon fiber having a small specific gravity and glass fiber having a large specific gravity are used for an area (A1) forward from the stance center of the reinforcing material, and glass fiber is used for an area (A2) rearward from the stance center of the reinforcing material.
