Abstract:
Provided are a snubber circuit capable of reducing a loss, and a power conversion system using the snubber circuit. A snubber circuit (3) is provided with a clamp circuit (31), and an insulated voltage conversion circuit (32). The clamp circuit (31) clamps a secondary voltage (V2) by absorbing electric energy of an insulated main circuit (2) that performs power conversion, from a pair of secondary voltage points (P21, P22) on the secondary side of the main circuit (2). The voltage conversion circuit (32) is electrically connected to a pair of primary voltage points (P11, P12) on the primary side of the main circuit (2), DC-converts a DC voltage generated by the clamp circuit (31), and outputs the resultant voltage to the pair of primary voltage points (P11, P12). The voltage conversion circuit (32) has: a transformer (35); a first capacitive element (C1) electrically connected to a primary winding (351) of the transformer (35); and a second capacitive element (C2) electrically connected to a secondary winding (352) of the transformer (35).
