Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention The present invention will now be described in detail in connection with preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings.

First Embodiment Fig. 1 is a partially dismantled perspective view schematically showing a soap casing according to a first embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 2 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the soap casing shown in Fig. 1, and Fig. 3 shows how to use the soap casing according to the present invention, which is a longitudinal cross- sectional view similar to Fig. 2.

A soap casing 100 has a given shape, for example an approximately rectangular box shape, as shown in Fig. 1. A body 10 of the soap casing 100 includes an aromatic container 12 for containing an aromatic at its upper front side. In the present invention, the aromatic is contained in the inside 13 having a cross section of a

square shape. The whole container 12 is thus projected into the body 10.

Furthermore, a middle separation and support plate 11 for separating the inside of the body 10 into upper and lower sections is formed at the center within the body 10. The middle separation and support plate 11 includes a support unit 11a having a screw hole lib downwardly formed at its center. Also, soap discharge holes 19 are formed at a lower front side of the body 10. A cutting means installation unit 16 having a hole 16a of a predetermined size is formed at a slightly upper side of the discharge holes 19 and is projected into the body 10 in a predetermined length. Furthermore, the body 10 has a slant portion 14 for discharging soap. The slant portion 14 is formed with a predetermined slant from a lower side of the discharge holes 19 in the body 10 to an upper side of the body 10.

The slant portion 14 has a curved portion 14a at its top end. The curved portion 14a is vertically curved.

Reference numeral 20 indicates a soap container of a hollow shape. The soap container 20 includes a hole 23 of a size enough to contain soap 40 of a predetermined diameter. The soap container 20 further includes a screw element 22 of a predetermined length at its upper side. A screw element is formed at the outer center of the soap container 20. The screw element is screwed to the screw hole lib of the support unit lla in the middle separation and support plate 11.

In a state where the soap 40 is contained in the soap container 20 and a compression spring 50 having a predetermined modulus of elasticity is disposed at the top of the soap 40, a projection screw element 62 of a fixing means 60 is inserted into the top screw element 22. The soap 40 is outwardly projected in a predetermined length since it is always pressurized with the compression force. If the soap container 20 in which the soap 40 is contained is coupled to the support unit lla of the middle separation and support plate 11 as shown in Fig. 2, the end of the soap 40 is latched to the upper end 14a of the slant portion 14 in the body 10.

Reference numeral 30 designates a lid for covering the top of the body 10. A plurality of holes are formed in a predetermined location of the lid 30, i. e. , a portion corresponding to a location of the aromatic container 12, so that the scent of the aromatic is spread out to the outside.

Reference numeral 70 indicates a cutting means for cutting soap.

The cutting means 70 is disposed within the cutting means installation unit 16. The cutting means 70 includes a cutter 72 for cutting the soap 40, a middle support rod 73 integrally formed with one end of the cutter 72 and having one side from which a screw element 73a is projected, and a switch 76 coupled through the screw element 73a. The switch 76 has almost the same diameter as the installation hole 16a of the cutting means installation unit 16. The cutting means 70 coupled

thus is disposed within the cutting means installation unit 16 in a state where the compression spring 74 inserted therebetween. The middle support rod 73 of the cutter 72 in the cutting means 70 goes and returns through the hole 16b in the cutting means installation unit 16. The cutter 72 is brought into contact with the exterior of the cutting means installation unit 16 and does not further go out of the body 10. That is, with the cutting means 70 disposed, the cutter 72 can move only in the direction along which the switch 76 moves (arrow direction). With the cutting means 70 disposed, the soap 40 contained in the soap container 20 is latched to the curved portion 14a of the body 10, and the cutter 72 of the cutting means 70 is brought into contact with the bottom of the soap container 20 and the soap 40 at the same time, as shown in Fig. 2. As a result, the position of the cutter 73 is higher a little than the top of the curved portion 14a. The bottom of the soap container 20 is spaced from the curved portion 14a by some distance.

In this state, if a user depresses the switch 76 of the cutting means 70 in order to use the soap, the cutter 72 moves in the arrow direction (left direction) to cut the soap 40, and the cut soap 40 downwardly moves along the slant portion 14 and is then discharged through the discharge holes 19 of the body 10, as shown in Fig. 3.

Second Embodiment Fig. 4 is a partially dismantled perspective view schematically

showing a soap casing according to a second embodiment of the present invention, Fig. 5 is a longitudinal cross-sectional view of the soap casing shown in Fig. 4, and Fig. 6 is a partially dismantled perspective view schematically showing a soap casing according to a second embodiment of the present invention. Description with reference to Fig. 4 to Fig. 6 is almost the same as that with reference to the first embodiment. Thus, like reference numerals are used to identify the same or similar parts and description on the soap aromatic container 12, the container 20, the lid 30, etc. will not be given in order to avoid redundancy.

Reference numeral 80 designates a powdered soap-generating means for generating powdered soap. The powdered soap-generating means 80 is generally disposed within a working means installation means 96.

The powdered soap-generating means 80 is a means for making the soap 40 into powdered soap and is made of a metallic material that makes friction with the surface of soap to make soap powered while being rotated together with the soap. The powdered soap-generating means 80 has discharge holes 82 having a plurality of predetermined diameters formed in its predetermined locations. The discharge holes 82 have a diameter greater a little than the hole 23 for containing the soap 40 and have rotatably fixed near the bottom of the hole 23.

For example, the powdered soap-generating means 80 can be inserted into a groove formed near the bottom of the hole 23.

Furthermore, the powdered soap-generating means 80 has upper projections 81. The upper projections 81 are upwardly projected from the powdered soap-generating means 80 and serve to rake up the soap 40 thereon when being brought into contact with the soap 40. The projected shape is brought into contact with the bottom of the soap 40.

Furthermore, four projections 83 of a predetermined length are formed vertically downwardly at the bottom of the powdered soap-generating means 80. That is, in the detailed drawing of Fig. 4, as an example of the powdered soap-generating means 80, the upper projections 81 may have a shape that is upwardly projected in an approximately semi- circle shape. Therefore, the projected portions peel the soap 40 so that the peeled soap is discharged downwardly.

Though not shown in the drawings, the upper projections 81 may have a shape whose edge (whole circumference) is projected upwardly every hole 82.

Meanwhile, reference numeral 86 designates a working means disposed at the working means installation means 96. The working means 86 has one end in which a working rod 87 of a predetermined length is projected and has a diameter having almost the same diameter as the size of an installation hole 96a in the working means installation means 96. The working means 86 is movable and has a compression spring 84 intervened within the working means installation means 96. The working rod 87 of the working means 86 goes and returns through a hole

96b within the working means installation means 96. Meanwhile, a latching jaw 85 is disposed at the top of the working means 86, and moves along a guide unit 88 formed at the top of the installation hole 96a but does not moves out of the body 10. With the working means 80 disposed, the soap 40 contained in the soap container 20 faces the top of the powdered soap-generating means 80 disposed at the bottom of the hole 23 in the body 10, as shown in Fig. 5. The working rod 87 of the working means 80 is located with it facing the projection 83 of the powdered soap-generating means 80 in the soap container 20.

In this state, if a user depresses the working means 86 of the working means 80 in order to use soap, the working rod 87 moves in the arrow direction (left direction) to depress the projection 83 of the powdered soap-generating means 80, so that the powdered soap- generating means 80 is totally rotated at a given angle, for example 90°, as shown in Fig. 6. Due to this, the soap 40 facing the top of the powdered soap-generating means 80 is peeled by some amount.

Accordingly, the powdered soap-generating means 80 moves downwardly along the slant portion 14 through the discharge holes 82 and is then discharged through the discharge holes 19 of the body 10.

Third Embodiment Fig. 7 is a partially dismantled perspective view schematically showing a soap casing according to a third embodiment of the present invention.

The soap casing shown in Fig. 7 is the same as the soap casing shown in Fig. 6 except for a power supply means 50, a working means 52 and a motor M. Fig. 7 shows an embodiment that the powdered soap- generating means 80 shown in Fig. 6 is automatically rotated.

Reference numeral 52 indicates the working means (switch) and reference numeral 50 designates the power supply means 50. If a user depresses the working means 52, the power is applied during a predetermined time, which rotates the motor M. The powdered soap- generating means 80 has a pivot connected to its lower center. The pivot transfers the rotary power to the powdered soap-generating means 80 as the motor M is rotated. Therefore, the soap 40 is powered by the powdered soap-generating means 80 and is then automatically discharged downwardly.

Industrial Applicability According to the present invention as described above, it is possible to prevent problems such as robbery or loss of soap. Soap is contained and is discharge by predetermined amount whenever a working means is depressed. Thus, soap can be used as much as it is needed.

Therefore, the present invention has effects that the use of soap is easy and soap is prevented from being stolen.

While the present invention has been described with reference to the particular illustrative embodiments, it is not to be restricted by

the embodiments but only by the appended claims. It is to be appreciated that those skilled in the art can change or modify the embodiments without departing from the scope and spirit of the present invention.
