Abstract:
Disclosed are soccer shoes equipped with a member for protecting the toes of the wearer from impacts and improving the accuracy of shots when kicking a hard pass or shooting a goal with the toe of a soccer shoe. The toe of a soccer shoe is provided with a cover plate (2) that has a desired thickness, surface area, and angle, said cover plate (2) being molded so as to be integrated with a reinforcement partition (12a) and left- and right-side surface reinforcing members (4b, 4c) that extend up to the shoe uppers (4a) and down to the outsole (3). The shoe uppers are tightened by one shoelace that passes through a soft fiber member from the front of the ankle to the heel, and thereby eliminate slack vertical, lateral and anteroposterior directions and release the impact of a kick upwards from the ankle. The cover plate (2) uses hard rubber, elastomer, or synthetic resin that can be cut to the preferred dimension and angle of each individual. Shots made with the flat surface of the cover plate (2) are easier to control than shots made with the upper or side of the shoe and will improve one's probability of making a shot.
