Abstract:
[Problem] To preemptively prevent pressing failure and mounting failure of electrical components in a double-latch-scheme socket for electrical components. [Solution] In this socket for electrical components, a lower electrical component (11) is accommodated by a lower contact unit (22) of a lower contact module (20), and an upper electrical component (12) is accommodated by an upper contact unit (32) of an upper contact module (30). The lower contact module (20) and the upper contact module (30) are disposed in the vertical direction and are attached to the lower side of a cover (40). When a pressing member presses the upper electrical component (12) against the upper contact unit (32), the upper contact unit (32) is lowered with respect to an upper module body (31). The upper electrical component (12) on the upper contact unit (32) conducts electricity to the lower electrical component (11) on the lower contact unit (22).
