Abstract:
A socket (100), comprising a socket body (2), clamping members, a carrying member and an elastic member; the socket body has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is configured to be able to connect to a wrench handle, and the second end is provided with at least two clamping members; the clamping members are assembled above the carrying member, and the clamping members are movable relative to the carrying member in the radial direction; the carrying member may move in the axial direction of the socket body, and is subjected to a restoring force of the elastic member when the carrying member moves toward the first end of the socket body; and the clamping members are provided thereon with first inclined surfaces, an inner wall of the socket body is provided thereon with a second inclined surface, and the first inclined surfaces cooperate with the second inclined surface, such that when the clamping members move toward the second end along the axis of the socket body under the restoring force of the elastic member, a reaction force of the second inclined surface on the first inclined surfaces causes the clamping members to move radially to the axis of the socket body. Further comprised is a socket wrench that is provided with the aforementioned socket. The socket and the socket wrench are suitable for parts of a variety of specifications, and have a simple structure and low production and fabrication costs.
