Abstract:
Provided is a soft magnetic alloy having excellent soft magnetism characteristics in which high saturation magnetic flux density and low coercivity are obtained at the same time, the soft magnetic alloy furthermore having small change in saturation magnetic flux density over time as well as small change in coercivity over time. A soft magnetic alloy represented by the compositional formula ((Fe(1 – (α + β))X1αX2β)(1 – (a + b + c))MaBbSic)1 – dCd. In the formula, X1 is 1 or more species selected from the group consisting of Co and Ni, X2 is one or more species selected from the group consisting of Al, Mn, Ag, Zn, Sn, As, Sb, Bi, N, O, and rare earth elements, M is one or more species selected from the group consisting of Nb, Hf, Zr, Ta, Ti, Mo, W, and V, and 0.030 ≤ a 0.15, 0.020 < b ≤ 0.20, 0 < c < 0.050, 0 < d < 0.030, α ≥ 0, β ≥ 0, and 0 ≤ α + β ≤ 0.50.
