Abstract:
Provided are: a soft magnetic alloy having both of a high saturation magnetic flux density Bs and high corrosion resistance simultaneously; and others. The soft magnetic alloy comprises a component represented by the compositional formula: ((Fe(1-(α+β)CoαNiβ)1-γX1γ)(1-(a+b+c+d+e))BaPbSicCdCre (atom number ratio) and Mn, in which X1 represents at least one element selected from Ti, Zr, Hf, Nb, Ta, Mo, W, Al, Ga, Ag, Zn, S, Ca, Mg, V, Sn, As, Sb, Bi, N, O, Au, Cu, a rare earth element and a platinum-group element, each of a to e and α to γ falls within a specified range, 0.002 ≦ f < 3.0 is satisfied in which f (at%) represents the content of Mn, the corrosion potential is -630 to -50 mV inclusive, and the corrosion current density is 0.3 μA/cm2 to 45 μA/cm2 inclusive.
