Abstract:
The soft radiation-shielding material comprising a hydrogel according to the present invention comprises a hydrogel matrix which includes an ionic cross-link and a covalent cross-link, has an interpenetrating polymer structure, and is a moisture-containing polymer. The soft radiation-shielding material has a soft characteristic and excellent elasticity, even if the thickness thereof is increased, and can provide a stable radiation-shielding effect by preventing or minimizing the cracking of a radioactive substance shielding material caused by vibrations or an impact.
