Abstract:
Disclosed is a softener composition containing a specific bis(polyalkoxyalkanol) type quaternary ammonium salt represented by general formula (I). [In the formula, R1 and R2 may be the same as or different from each other and independently represent a hydrocarbon group having 11 to 23 carbon atoms; R3 and R4 may be the same as or different from each other and independently represent a hydrocarbon group that has 1 to 4 carbon atoms and may have a hydroxy group; k and l may be the same as or different from each other and independently represent an integer of 5 to 10; and X- represents an anion.]
