Abstract:
This software management device manages vehicle-side version information on vehicle-side software installed in a controller mounted on a work vehicle that is working and can automatically travel in a field, and terminal-side version information on terminal-side software installed in a wireless communication terminal that communicates with the work vehicle and operates the work vehicle. The software management device includes: a storage unit which stores the vehicle-side version information and the terminal-side version information; a vehicle-side updating unit which changes, based on the vehicle-side software installed in the controller being updated by an external terminal connected to the controller, the vehicle-side version information stored in the storage unit into vehicle-side version information that corresponds to the vehicle-side software after the updating; a terminal-side updating unit which changes, based on the terminal-side software being downloaded to the wireless communication terminal, the terminal-side version information into terminal-side version information that corresponds to the downloaded terminal-side software; and an information presentation unit which presents the vehicle-side version information and the terminal-side version information that are stored in the storage unit.
