Abstract:
Provided in the present application is a software upgrade method, the upgrade method being applicable to a front-end server. The upgrade method comprises the following steps: receiving upgrade query information sent by a terminal, and determining, according to the upgrade query information and a pre-set upgrade policy, whether a client in the terminal needs an upgrade, the pre-set upgrade policy being configured at the front-end server; and if the client needs an upgrade, returning, according to the pre-set upgrade policy, upgrade information to the terminal. Further provided in the present application are a front-end server and a computer-readable storage medium. The present application configures a version upgrade policy of a client at a front-end server, and when the client is making a version upgrade query, an upgrade operation is directly performed at the front end, without the need for a database access. With the method, the present application simplifies the software upgrade process, and meanwhile makes maintenance convenient due to the upgrade being completed at the front end.
