Abstract:
A soil water content measuring method and device capable of pF value-based irrigation control in cultivation in soil, and an irrigation control method and device capable of pF value-based irrigation control based on the measuring method and device. A soil pF value (soil moisture tension) measuring method, characterized by comprising the steps of: determining in advance the interrelation between a pF value and water content by volume, for soil to be measured; measuring a water content by volume of the soil; and converting the water content by volume measured in the step (b) into a soil pF value based on the interrelation between a pF value and water content by volume obtained in the step (a): and a soil irrigation control method and device based on the obtained pF value.
