This solar battery module 10 is provided with an optically transparent substrate 1 disposed on the light receiving surface side thereof, a back film 4 disposed on the back side, and a sealing layer 2 that is formed of an optically transparent resin and that is held between the optically transparent substrate 1 and the back film 4. The solar battery module 10 is provided with multiple solar battery cells sealed inside the sealing layer 2, an identification label sheet 5 that is formed of a resin on which management information for identification is described, and that is sealed inside the sealing layer 2 at a different zone from the solar battery cells in the surface direction of the optically transparent substrate 1, and a protective sheet 6 that contains an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent, that is formed of an optically transparent resin, and that is layered on the optically transparent substrate 1 side of the identification label sheet 5 and sealed inside the sealing layer 2. The per-thickness ultraviolet-ray absorption property of the protective sheet 6 is greater than that of a light receiving surface side sealing layer 2a disposed, in the sealing layer 2, closer to the optically transparent substrate 1 side than the light receiving surface of the solar battery cells in the thickness direction of the sealing layer 2.
