Abstract:
Solar battery units (2, 3) are each formed in the shape of a hollow column, and at least part of its outer surface is a window (10) for receiving light. The battery units can readily be fitted to or placed on desired places directly, and good appearance can be maintained with wiring enclosed inside. Since they can be directly fixed either horizontally or vertically depending on the place where they are mounted, it is possible to fit them regardless of the angle or height of placement. If they are to be fitted on a long narrow place, solar battery units (2, 3) can be arranged longitudinally to form a solar battery device (1).
