Abstract:
Disclosed is a solar-cell backsheet, the constituent members of which adhere to each other well. Furthermore, said solar-cell backsheet is inexpensive to manufacture, highly weather-resistant, and has excellent water-vapor barrier performance. The disclosed solar-cell backsheet has a layered structure comprising at least three layers. The first layer is a weather-resistant polyester resin film or fluorine resin film. The second layer is a polyolefin layer that is between 5 and 250 µm thick and comprises a modified polyolefin resin obtained by grafting 1 to 30 weight parts of an epoxy-group-containing vinyl monomer and 0.1 to 30 weight parts of an aromatic vinyl monomer onto 100 weight parts of a polyethylene, a polypropylene, or an ethylene-propylene copolymer. The third layer is a polyester layer, a polyolefin layer, or aluminum foil. The combined thickness of the second and third layers is at least 30 µm.
