Abstract:
A solar cell element from one embodiment of this invention is provided with a semiconductor substrate that has a first semiconductor layer that conducts in one way and a reverse conducting second semiconductor layer. A first principal surface of the semiconductor substrate, on the side of the second semiconductor layer, is provided with a plurality of linear collecting electrodes disposed at intervals from the center area of the first principal surface to edge areas on both sides of said surface. The solar cell element is characterized in that the distance between adjacent collecting electrodes in the aforementioned center area is different from the distances between adjacent collecting electrodes in the aforementioned edge areas.
