Abstract:
Provided are: a solar cell module with which a solar cell panel is unlikely to break due to bending or the like and in which integration strength between a reinforcement crosspiece and the solar cell panel is high when compared to conventional products; and an installation structure for the solar cell module. The present invention is provided with a solar cell panel having at least two opposing sides, a pair of frame members that hold the two opposing sides of the solar cell panel, and a reinforcement crosspiece that connects the pair of frame members. Sides other than the two opposing sides of the solar cell panel are mostly or entirely directly visible when viewed from the light receiving surface side. The pair of frame members each have a holding part that holds an end of the solar cell panel, and a connection part that connects to the reinforcement crosspiece. The holding part covers at least an end surface of the solar cell panel. The reinforcement crosspiece extends so as to span over the two opposing sides when viewed from the reverse surface side. Furthermore, the reinforcement crosspiece is configured to be fastened to each of the connection parts of the pair of frame members by fastening elements.
