Abstract:
Disclosed is a solar cell (51), which is provided with: a translucent substrate (1); a supporting substrate (2); a photoelectric conversion section (5) and a counter electrode (6), which are disposed between the translucent substrate and the supporting substrate by being spaced apart from each other; an electrolyte section (7) disposed between the translucent substrate (1) and the supporting substrate (2), while being in contact with the photoelectric conversion section (5) and the counter electrode (6); and a sealing section (4), which surrounds and seals the electrolyte section (7) such that the electrolyte section (7) is retained within an electrolyte disposing region that can be specified by the long axis and the short axis. First openings (8a, 8b) that make the electrolyte section (7) communicate with the outside are provided at least in one end portion in the long axis direction in the electrolyte disposing region, and one or more second openings (9) that make the electrolyte section (7) communicate with the outside are provided at the middle in the long axis direction in the electrolyte disposing region. The first and the second openings (8a, 8b, 9) are sealed.
