Abstract:
This solar cell module (200) is provided with a solar cell string (100) wherein rectangular solar cells (101, 102, 103), each of which has a light receiving surface and a back surface, are electrically connected in a first direction. Each solar cell does not have a metal electrode on the light receiving surface, and only the back surface is provided with a metal electrode. The light receiving surface-side main surface of a back surface protective material (92) that is arranged on the back surface of the solar cell string has a color similar to the color of the light receiving surfaces of the solar cells. With respect to the solar cell string, members (82, 83) for cell connection, which are arranged between solar cells adjacent to each other in the first direction, have portions that are exposed in the light receiving surface and have a color similar to the color of the light receiving surfaces of the solar cells. The lateral surfaces of the end portions of the members for cell connection in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction have a color similar to the color of the light receiving surfaces of the solar cells; and the lateral surfaces of the end portions of the members for cell connection and the lateral surfaces of the solar cells are positioned in the same straight line.
