Abstract:
A solar cell (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention is characterized by being provided with: a first photoelectric conversion layer (11) that mainly absorbs and photoelectrically converts short-wavelength light, a second photoelectric conversion layer (12) that mainly absorbs and photoelectrically converts long-wavelength light, and a plurality of nanorods (20). The solar cell (1) is also characterized in that the second photoelectric conversion layer (12) is formed so as to cover the plurality of nanorods (20) from a side that is on the reverse side of the light incident side and constitutes a first photonic crystal together with the plurality of nanorods (20).
