Abstract:

Provided are a solar cell sealing film having superb durability in terms of maintaining long-term adhesion in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment, having a high crosslinking rate during solar cell manufacture, and having reduced blistering; and a solar cell utilizing this sealing film. The solar cell sealing film contains an ethylene-polar monomer copolymer, an organic peroxide, and a silane coupling agent; and is characterized in that the silane coupling agent is represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 is an alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms, the three R1 groups can be the same or different, and n is an integer 1-8), and the silane coupling agent content is 0.02-1.0 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of the ethylene-polar monomer copolymer. Also provided is a solar cell utilizing this solar cell sealing film.
