Abstract:

A solar cell sealing material characterized in containing: an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer satisfying a1) and a2) below; and a specific peroxyketal having a 1-hour half-life temperature in a range of 100-135°C; the peroxyketal being contained at 0.1 to less than 0.8 weight parts relative to 100 weight parts of the ethylene/α-olefin copolymer. a1) The Shore A hardness measured in compliance with ASTM D2240 is 60-85. a2) The MFR measured in compliance with ASTM D1238 under conditions of 190°C and a 2.16-kg load is 2-50g/10mins.
