Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a solar cell which exhibits excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, and in which a decrease in photoelectric conversion efficiency caused by continuous exposure to light (photodegradation) is suppressed, and which has little corrosion of a photoelectric conversion layer. The present invention is a solar cell which has a structure obtained by laminating a cathode (2), an electron transport layer (3), a photoelectric conversion layer (4) and an anode (6) in that order, wherein the photoelectric conversion layer (4) contains an organic-inorganic perovskite compound represented by general formula R-M-X3 (here, R is an organic molecule, M is a metal atom, and X is a halogen atom or a chalcogen atom), and the cathode (2) comprises a titanium material and has an oxide layer on at least one surface.
