Title:
SOLAR HEAT COLLECTION DEVICE FORMED WITH CONCAVE MIRROR AND CONVEX LENS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/054816
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The utilization of heat energy near the focal point of sunlight focused by a large concave mirror is limited to small devices such as Stirling engines, because the shadow of a photographic subject/device/piping produces energy loss. Therefore, this problem can be solved by reproducing the focal position on the back side of the large concave mirror. In the method therefor, a small concave mirror (2) which has the same reflection curvature as a large concave mirror (1) is arranged to the rear of the focal position (5), so as to be stationary or be capable of movement by mounting on a cylinder (9), and on the center line of and parallel to and opposing the large concave mirror, and the portion of the center of the large concave mirror (1) that has the same diameter as the small concave mirror (2) is removed, and the center thereof and a portion that is cylindrical and one surface of which has been removed are orthogonally connected and secured, thereby forming a heat collection chamber (4), within which a stationary or movable convex lens (3) is arranged parallel to the other components. Sunlight (6) is collected by the large concave mirror (1), condensed and reflected in parallel by the small concave mirror (2), and passes through the convex lens (3), and heat is collected. By making the small concave mirror (2) movable the surface area of the large concave mirror (1) receiving the sunlight (6) can be adjusted, thereby enabling the temperature of the heat collected in the heat collection chamber (4) to be adjusted. In addition, this device, which rotates on a horizontal axis (7) for the purpose of implementation, and a tower (8), which rotates on a perpendicular axis and supports this device, are connected and secured, forming a two-axis sun tracking device, which is a solar heat collection device that is formed with a concave mirror and a convex lens, and that plays a critical role in a heat collection facility that tracks the sun under the control of a computer. By reproducing the focal point in the heat collection chamber (4) on the back side of the large concave mirror (1), piping work and the like can easily be performed, energy loss due to an increasing shadow can be prevented, and the collected energy can be converted to a large amount of electricity or the like.
