Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a non-water, non-contact, cleaning method and cleaning device for solar panels (P) with which high cleaning performance and good cleaning efficiency can be achieved. [Solution] The cleaning method for solar panels according to the present invention is characterized by involving steps of jetting compressed gas on a panel surface of a solar panel (P) to create on the panel surface a shielded zone (S), which extends across the entire width of the solar panel (P), and advancing the shielded zone (S) along the direction in which the solar panel (P) extends so as to carry out cleaning while areas of the panel surface that have been cleaned (P2) are shielded from areas that have not been cleaned (P1). The solar panel cleaning device (1) according to the present invention is characterized in that the solar panel cleaning device comprises a main body having a length corresponding to the width of the solar panel (P) in the inclined direction, cleaning parts attached along the longitudinal direction of the main body, and traveling parts attached to the main body, the cleaning parts jet compressed gas toward the part of the panel surface of the solar panel ahead in the advancing direction, and the solar panel cleaning device is able to clean the solar panel (P) while traveling over the panel surface by means of the traveling parts.
