Abstract:
A solar power generation system (10) comprises the following: an inverter (1) that converts DC power input from a solar cell (3) to AC power; a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control unit (22) that carries out maximum power point tracking control of the inverter (1); an input power measurement unit (21) that measures the DC power input to the inverter (1), at the point when a transient state due to fluctuation of the DC voltage of the inverter (1) is avoided, such fluctuation caused by the maximum power point tracking control; an output power measurement unit (26) that measures the AC power output from the inverter (1), at the point when a transient state is avoided; and a conversion efficiency calculation unit (27) that calculates the conversion efficiency of the inverter (1) on the basis of the DC power measured by the input power measurement unit (21) and the AC power measured by the output power measurement unit (26).
