Abstract:
Provided are: a solar-radiation-shielding-microparticle dispersion containing a thermoplastic resin and solar-radiation-shielding microparticles having high visible light transmittance, an exceptional heat ray-shielding effect, and stable weather resistance; a master batch containing solar-radiation-shielding microparticles; a solar-radiation-shielding-resin-molded article; and a solar-radiation-shielding laminate in which the molded article is laminated on another transparent molded article. A solar-radiation-shielding-microparticle dispersion obtained by dispersing, in a resin component: a liquid-form solar-radiation-shielding-microparticle dispersion in which a mixture of solar-radiation-shielding-microparticles and an organic solvent and/or a plasticizer is dispersed; or a pulverulent solar-radiation-shielding-microparticle dispersion obtained by heating off the liquid component from the liquid-form dispersion. The solar-radiation-shielding-microparticles contain calcium lanthanum boride microparticles of the general formula CaxLa1-xBm, where the value of x in the general formula is such that 0.01 ≦ x ≦ 0.800, the value of m is such that 5.0 ≦ m < 6.3, the average dispersed particle diameter is 1-800 nm (inclusive), and the calcium lanthanum boride microparticles have a predetermined shape.
