Abstract:
An object of the present invention is to provide a solar reflector which maintains excellent reflectance in a reflective layer and has excellent sand resistance and weather resistance. The solar reflector according to the present invention comprises a substrate, a reflective layer that is disposed on the substrate, and a protective layer that is disposed on the reflective layer. The protective layer contains silicon and an organic matter, and contains 10 to 60 percent by mass of silicon in terms of SiO2, and the number of oxygen chemically bonded to silicon is between 1.5 and 3.2 on average.
