Abstract:
The invention relates to a solar thermal heliostat (30) comprising a mirror (34) and a fixed horizontal primary axis (40) about which the mirror (34) can tilt. Said primary axis (40) is associated with a linear drive (36) comprising a drive motor (50) and self-locking gearing (52, 54), and associated with a pulse generator (60) which is allocated to the drive motor (50) and/or the gearing (52, 54), for detecting the incremental tilted position. The invention also relates to a non-volatile mirror position memory (76) which is connected to the pulse generator (60) for the storage of the tilted position of the mirror (34) when there is no current supply.
