A sole pad is configured to follow the sole which moves in the footwear, and as a result the sole pad is held at a predetermined portion of the sole to effectively stimulate the sole. A sole pad is used by being affixed to footwear so as to make contact with the arch (20) of the sole, and the sole pad is provided with: a flat upper surface (10) making contact with the sole; and a side surface (11) for connecting the upper surface (10) and the affixing surface (13) which is affixed to the footwear. The angle (θ1) formed between the affixing surface (13) and the side surface (11) is substantially a right angle or greater. The front edge (2) and the rear edge (3) of the pad (1) are formed in a circular arc shape in a plan view, and the curvature radius (R2) of the rear edge (3) is set to be less than the curvature radius (R1) of the front edge (2). A side edge (5) which makes contact with the arch (20) at a position on the outer side, relative to the foot, of the sole is composed of two curved sections (5A, 5B) having a protruding shape in the plan view, and the two curved sections (5A, 5B) are connected in a substantially V-shape to form a cutout (6) having an opening which faces the inner side of the foot.
