Abstract:
The present invention has a stiffness reducing portion (32) in an inner midfoot region (20) when a midfoot portion (14) of a sole (10) is divided by a prescribed sole center line (2) into the inner midfoot region (20) and an outer midfoot region (22) on each side in the foot width direction. The stiffness reducing portion (32) of the inner midfoot region (20) reduces bending stiffness of the inner midfoot region (20) by means of a causal element that differs from the shape, in plan view, of an inner edge (10c) and an outer edge (10d) of the sole (10), so that the reduction in bending stiffness around the foot-width axis is greater for the inner midfoot region (20) than for the outer midfoot region (22).
