Abstract:
Provided is a solenoid valve control device with which it is possible to detect the movement of a valve body in response to a drive command without adding a special circuit. This solenoid valve control device controls the opening and closing of a solenoid valve in an internal combustion engine system comprising: a fuel pump having a plunger that moves up and down to increase and reduce the capacity of a pressurizing chamber as a pump-driving cam rotates, a solenoid valve for drawing fuel into the pressurizing chamber, and a discharge valve for discharging the fuel in the pressurizing chamber; and a fuel rail (common rail) that accumulates the fuel discharged by the fuel pump. The solenoid valve control device is provided with a control unit that assesses whether the solenoid valve is closed on the basis of the fuel pressure 604 of the fuel rail, or calculates the discharge amount due to the closing of the solenoid valve on the basis of the fuel pressure of the fuel rail.
