Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to provide a solid biomass fuel such that disintegration due to rain is prevented with minimized cost increase and such that the chemical oxygen demand (COD) of waste water is reduced. The present invention relates to a solid biomass fuel obtained by molding a biomass powder having a fuel ratio (fixed carbon/volatile matter) of 0.2 to 0.8, a dry basis higher heating value of 4800 to 7000 (kcal/kg), a molar ratio O/C of oxygen O and carbon C of 0.1 to 0.7, and a molar ratio H/C of hydrogen H and carbon C of 0.8 to 1.3.
