Abstract:
The present invention relates to a solid ceramic catalyst used in fatty acid methyl ester production, and a method for producing the solid ceramic catalyst. The present invention provides a solid ceramic catalyst used in converting fat and oil having diverse fatty acid content to fatty acid methyl ester, composition of the solid catalyst being 3.5-54.0 wt% SnO, 0.5-1.5 wt% TiO2, 0.5-1.5 wt%MoO3, and 40-95% silica alumina.
