Abstract:
Provided are a solid electrolyte (1) comprising partially stabilized zirconia (2) and a gas sensor (5) comprising this solid electrolyte (1). The partially stabilized zirconia (2) at least includes low-concentration-phase stabilizer particles (31) as crystal grains (3) and also has voids (25). The percentage of low-concentration-phase stabilizer particles (31) having a distance from a void (25) of 5 μm or less is 65 vol% or greater.
