Abstract:
A solid electrolyte material 100 according to the present disclosure contains lithium and a chalcogen element; and the valence of the chalcogen element is larger than -2 but smaller than 0. A battery 1000 according to the present disclosure is provided with a positive electrode 201, a negative electrode 203, and an electrolyte layer 202 that is arranged between the positive electrode 201 and the negative electrode 203; and at least one component selected from the group consisting of the positive electrode 201, the negative electrode 203 and the electrolyte layer 202 contains the above-described solid electrolyte material 100 according to the present disclosure.
