Abstract:
This solid electrolytic capacitor element comprises a positive electrode body, a dielectric layer that is formed on the surface of the positive electrode body, a solid electrolyte layer that covers at least a part of the dielectric layer, and a negative electrode lead-out layer that covers at least a part of the solid electrolyte layer. The negative electrode lead-out layer comprises a carbon layer which is in contact with the solid electrolyte layer and covers at least a part of the solid electrolyte layer. The carbon layer includes a carbonaceous material and a transition metal ion component. A solid electrolytic capacitor that keeps initial ESR low is provided by using a solid electrolytic capacitor element in which the content of the transition metal ion component in the carbon layer is less than or equal to 17,000 ppm by mass.
