Abstract:
A solid electrolytic capacitor provided with a chip substrate piece (12), a sintered chip body (21) which is prepared by sintering metal powder and disposed on the piece (12), a solid electrolyte layer formed on the chip body (21) and electrically isolated from the metal powder of the chip body (21) through a dielectric film (22), a coating resin (25) which covers the chip body (21) in such a way that part of the layer (23) is exposed, a terminal electrode film (27) on the cathode side electrically connected to the exposed part of the layer (23), and a terminal electrode film (28) on the anode side formed on the piece (12) and electrically connected to the metal powder. The method of manufacturing such a solid electrolytic capacitor is also disclosed.
