Abstract:
A solid electrolytic capacitor comprising: an insulating substrate (2) having an upper surface (2a) and a lower surface (2b); a capacitor element (1) arranged on the upper surface (2a) of the insulating substrate (2); a positive electrode leading-out structure (3); a negative electrode leading-out structure (4); and an external housing (5) that covers the capacitor element (1) on the upper surface (2a) of the insulating substrate (2). The capacitor element (1) has a positive electrode member, a negative electrode member, and a dielectric member. The positive electrode leading-out structure (3) has a positive electrode terminal (32) formed on the lower surface (2b) of the insulating substrate (2), and is electrically connected to the positive electrode member for the capacitor element (1). The negative electrode leading-out structure (4) has a negative electrode terminal (42) formed on the lower surface (2b) of the insulating substrate (2), and is electrically connected to the negative electrode member for the capacitor element (1). A stepped section (20) is formed in the insulating substrate (2), by a recessed surface (23) in which the upper surface (2a) has been recessed and a protruding surface (24) in which the lower surface (2b) has been caused to rise.
