Abstract:
A solid electrolytic capacitor 100 of the present disclosure comprises: at least one capacitor element 10 having a positive electrode portion 3 and a negative electrode portion 6; cladding 14 that has a first end surface 14a exposing the positive electrode portion 3 and a second end surface 14b exposing the negative electrode portion 6, and that seals the at least one capacitor element 10; a first external electrode 21 that is provided so as to cover the first end surface 14a, that includes a first conductive paste layer 21A, and that is electrically connected to the positive electrode portion 3; and a second external electrode 22 that is provided so as to cover the second end surface 14b, that includes a second conductive paste layer 22A, and that is electrically connected to the negative electrode portion 6. The periphery of the first end surface 14a and the periphery of the second end surface 14b are each R-chamfered. Due to this configuration, deterioration of ESR characteristics can be suppressed.
