In a fuel cell unit (16) that constitutes a fuel cell module (2) of an SOFC device (1), a collector cap (86a) is connected to an inner electrode layer (90) with a sealing material (96) interposed therebetween, said sealing material (96) serving as a silver sealing part. In addition, an upper end surface (96a) of the sealing material (96) is covered with a glass coating (a dense body) (30) that is provided so as to fill the space between the collector cap (86a) and the inner electrode layer (90) or an electrolyte layer (94). Consequently, the fuel cell unit (16) is provided with: the sealing material (96) which serves as the silver sealing part that separates the fuel gas side and the oxidant gas side from each other; and the glass coating (30) which is formed so as to cover at least a part of a portion of the sealing material (96) located on the fuel gas side and/or a portion of the sealing material (96) located on the oxidant gas side.
