Title:
SOLID-OXIDE FUEL CELL SYSTEM, AND START-UP CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/069631
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention improves the durability of an SOFC system, and ensures a sufficient power generation property while the system is used. In an SOFC system, the fuel gas flow rate to a fuel cell stack at the beginning of startup is set to a maximum fuel gas flow rate during start-up control which is 1.3 times or lower than the maximum fuel gas flow rate (FgMAX) during rated power generation. Once the temperature begins to increase the fuel gas flow rate (F2) until the temperature (T) of the fuel cell stack reaches a first temperature (T1) at which the nitrogen oxide within the fuel cell stack becomes reduced is set to F1 or lower. Then, until power generation begins, the fuel gas flow rate (F3) is reduced below F2, and the average fuel gas flow rate (FAVE) from the beginning of startup to the beginning of power generation is set to be 0.6 times or above the average fuel gas flow rate (FgAVE) during rated power generation.
