Title:
SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/141402
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) system capable of stopping shutdown and avoiding air electrode reduction. This SOFC system (1) is characterized by: having a fuel cell module (2), a fuel supply device (38), a water supply device (28), an oxidant gas supply device (45), a reformer (20), and a controller (110) that controls the extraction of power from the fuel supply device, the water supply device, the oxidant gas supply device, and the fuel cell module; the controller comprising a shutdown stoppage circuit (110a) that stops shutdown, in a state in which a fuel cell stack is at least at an oxidation-suppressing temperature; and the controller executing temperature reduction control whereby high-temperature oxidant gas residual on the oxidant gas electrode side is discharged, after shutdown has been stopped and during a period in which the pressure on a fuel electrode side is sufficiently higher than the pressure on an oxidant gas electrode side and no backflow of oxidation gas to the fuel electrode side occurs.
